Planning Groups
The Bay Area UASI engages a variety of stakeholders throughout the region to provide essential input for all of the planning processes. Planning group members represent diverse interests and areas of expertise at the local, regional and state level. Each planning group meets on a regular basis to address identified projects and goals, review developed planning documents, determine planning gaps, and help to guide the movement of the efforts into the next planning phase. Planning groups follow the over arching goals of the UASI set forth in the UASI Strategic Plan. The next version of this plan will be released in 2010 and will be a three year strategy.
The Planning groups are as follows:

· Training and Exercises
· BayRICS
· Regional Catastrophic Preparedness Grant Program (RCPGP)
